We know, we know. We haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving yet. But we’re already thinking about our annual Christmas trip to the White Earth Reservation.
Hope for the First Nations is excited to celebrate Christmas with our friends on the White Earth Reservation from Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, to Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. We’ll help pack gift bags and serve dinner at the community Christmas party Saturday at the Old School in Pine Point. Last year, we even got to judge the Pine Point Lights Contest.
You also can expect a Christmas cookie bake-off and nightly Advent devotions. Mostly, we’ll be spending time with our friends on the reservation and celebrate Christ coming to Earth to be with us.

The cost will cover food, lodging and some supplies and gifts and will depend on interest. In the past, that has been about $300 or $350.
