For many years, Hope for the First Nations partnered with Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinois, to offer a “week of class on the road” for undergraduate students. Students spent the week not only learning about contextual Native American ministry, but also doing it: volunteering with children at Pine Point School, spending time with and learning from our friends on the reservation and partnering on other projects in the community as invited.

In 2021, Lincoln Christian University eliminated all its non-ministry degree programs and no longer offers trips for its students.

But we loved watching Creator move during Restoration Week trips and are looking for new school partners. Think it might be a fit for you? Get in touch with HFtFN President Emily Miller at emmillerwrites@gmail.com.
