We are days away from our second online silent auction — time for a sneak peek of some of the items you’ll be able to bid on or buy now when everything goes live on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023!

There’s a taste of Minnesota featuring maple pecans, maple syrup, strawberry jam, wild rice blue corn waffle mix and a beautiful birchbark basket, all from this summer on the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota.

There’s fair trade beaded jewelry by Maya artisans in Guatemala from Lucia’s Imports.

There’s the perfect cozy night in featuring a polar fleece throw blanket; a sweetgrass-scented candle from SweetGrass Trading Co., which is owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska; Fairwater (light roast) coffee also from SweetGrass Trading Co.; a gorgeous Pendleton travel mug; and the book “Becoming Kin: An Indigenous Call to Unforgetting the Past and Reimagining Our Future” by Ojibwe author Patty Krawec.

There’s the comfiest sweatshirt ever, designed by our friends on the Rice Lake Community Council for this summer’s “Battle in the Bog” demolition derby on the White Earth Reservation.

And we’ve brought back some of last year’s favorite items: not just one, but three wild rice collections; a ready-to-gift collection for the littlest loved ones on your Christmas shopping list; and not just one, bur two of the ever-popular Fannie May Christmas gift bags.

Click here to see a sneak peek of these items and more so you can plan your bids accordingly — or drop hints to any friends and family members who might be shopping for you this holiday season.

The link to the auction will go live at 9 a.m. Central on Sunday, Nov. 26, and run through 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. In the meantime, we’ll be popping in to the Facebook event throughout the week with more information about what we do, so don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook!
