It’s the most wonderful time of the year… time to plan our annual Christmas trip to the White Earth Reservation! Hope for the First Nations is excited to celebrate Christmas with our friends on the White Earth Reservation from Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, to Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015. We’ll help pack gift bags Friday and serve dinner at the community Christmas party Saturday at the Old School in Pine Point. Mostly, we’ll spend time with our friends on the reservation and celebrate Christ coming to Earth to be with us. Expect a Christmas cookie bake-off, nightly Advent devotions and maybe even a midnight viewing of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” – because you can’t say we don’t have fun together. This informal trip is open to all volunteers who have been on a trip to White Earth with one of our teams. The cost will cover food, lodging and some supplies and gifts and will depend on interest. In the past, that has been about $300 or $350. Please contact HFtFN President Emily Miller at emily@hftfn.org if you are interested in coming, or if you and/or your church are interested in donating the following items:
  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Pillowcases
  • Money for pillows
