We know we constantly are bragging on the great things happening in each of the communities we partner with on the White Earth Reservation.
But the Pine Point community Christmas party is one of the best.
Every year, the community council sets aside money to make sure each child in Pine Point wakes up with a gift and a smile on Christmas morning and throws a party that brings together the whole community.
Hope for the First Nations is honored to be included in the party every year.
You can join us on our annual Christmas trip from Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, to Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018. On Friday, we’ll help decorate for the community Christmas party, pack gift bags and judge the Pine Point Lights Contest. On Saturday, we’ll help serve dinner at the party and assist Santa Claus by taking family photos and giving stuffed animals to every child who visits him.
You also can expect Christmas cookies, thunder burgers and nightly Advent devotions. Mostly, we’ll be spending time with our friends on the reservation and celebrating together.
All volunteers who have been on a trip to White Earth with one of our teams are welcome to join us. The cost is $250 and does not include getting to and from the reservation, though we can help arrange car pools for participants coming from the same area.
