We are days away from our second online silent auction — time for a sneak peek of some of the items you’ll be able to bid on or buy now when everything goes live on Sunday!
There are three pairs of gorgeous beaded earrings and a beaded keychain made by our friend Keisha, who lives in the Elbow Lake community on the White Earth Reservation.
There’s a selection of handmade soaps by multiethnic Indígena Christina Quintanilla of Bloomwell Essentials.
There’s the coziest sweatshirt ever, designed by our friends on the Rice Lake Community Council for this summer’s “Battle in the Bog” demolition derby on the White Earth Reservation.
And we’ve brought back some of last year’s favorite items: Foodie collections featuring wild rice and jams from legendary Minnesota gift shop Gifts O’ The Wild, ready-to-gift collections for all the kids on your Christmas shopping list including books by Indigenous authors and more and an even bigger and better basket of Fannie May chocolates.
Click here to see a sneak peek of these items and more so you can plan your bids accordingly — or drop hints to any friends and family members who might be shopping for you this holiday season.
The link to the auction will go live at 9 a.m. Central on Sunday, Nov. 28, and run through 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. In the meantime, we’ll be popping in to the Facebook event throughout the week with more information about what we do, so don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook!
