2021 was a pretty good year.

Praise God, 2022 is looking even better!

It's been a while since our calendars were this full

After safely celebrating Hope Camp Family Days last year, our Elbow Lake team is planning to bring back Hope Camp from July 25 to 29 in the village. The team is looking for volunteers to help with camp — including a lifeguard. If you're interested, reach out to coordinator Liz Hawes Ng for more details at elizabeth.hawes@gmail.com.

And that's not all we have planned this year.
We're planning to add at least one more Hope Camp this summer, as well as new fundraising events throughout the year. We also are analyzing the results of our first-ever community survey, making sure we are living up to our mission of partnering with the people of the White Earth Reservation.

So stay tuned! We can't wait to see what God has in store for us in 2022 and to share it with all of you.

Gather for Good

We're throwing a Noonday Collection Facebook party again this weekend to Gather for Good! We had a blast at our Noonday party last spring, and Noonday once again will donate some of the proceeds from sales of its fair-trade jewelry and home items to HFtFN.

Building better partnerships

For the first time, we're conducting a survey to check in with community councils across the White Earth Reservation and learn how we can better support the great things they already are doing.

Thanks for your support!

Miigwech for supporting our second online silent auction Nov. 28 to Dec. 5! We shared some laughs and information about what we do, and we raised $1,086 to continue our work on the White Earth Reservation.

Welcome, Asher!

As a family, we share joys and sorrows. Today we share a joy. HFtFN President Emily Miller and her husband, Joel, welcomed their first child, Asher George, on Dec. 9. He can't wait for his first Hope Camp!

Have a birth, a death or another announcement to share with the HFtFN family in a future newsletter?

Pray for us

Please pray:

  • For discernment as we analyze the results of our first community survey
  • For God's guidance as we plan new Hope Camps and fundraisers this year
  • And pray we honor God and the people of White Earth in all we do.
