Happy Native American Heritage Month!

November is Native American Heritage Month in the U.S., and we're here to celebrate with a new website and the return of our popular online silent auction.

But first, we can't wait to tell you about Hope Camp Family Days this August in Elbow Lake.

This summer, we were thrilled to find a safe way to gather again on the White Earth Reservation. Our team organized four days of outdoor activities for all ages Aug. 9 to 12 in the village of Elbow Lake.

Hope Camp Family Days ended with community dinner, hosted with the Elbow Lake Community Council. We also caught up with friends that weekend at the powwow in nearby Pine Point.

Save the date

Last year, COVID-19 forced us to get creative with our annual fundraiser. When we couldn’t gather for a fundraising dinner, we hosted an online silent auction instead. It ended up being so popular, we’re bringing it back this year. Mark your calendars for Nov. 28 to Dec. 5, 2021.

And we're back!

Thanks for your patience! We've been working behind the scenes this past year to create a new website and bring it back online, and now we're excited to share it with you. Let us know what you'd like to see at hopeforthefirstnations.com.

Pray for us

Please pray:

  • For the needs assessment survey we are conducting now on the White Earth Reservation
  • For God to direct our plans for next year
  • And pray we honor God and the people of White Earth in all we do.
