Mark your calendar for our first online silent auction!

26 October, 2020 by Emily Miller in Fundraiser, Help Out

Hope for the First Nations invites you to our first online silent auction.

Mark your calendar for our first online silent auction!

Get a sneak peek at the items you’ll be able to bid on as we add them to our auction website.

When we hosted our first fundraising dinner last year in Chicago, we planned to make it an annual event.

But COVID-19.

Like everybody else, we’re getting creative this year to continue our work partnering with the people of the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota. Hope Camp went online this summer. Now our fundraiser is, too.

So mark your calendars for Nov. 29 to Dec. 6 for our first online silent auction. Bring your own dinner, and get ready to bid on some unique items. Some of those items include a magnificent custom Christmas wreath, beautiful jewelry and other items made by Ojibwe artists in Minnesota and several resources we are constantly recommending to people who are interested in learning more about Native American culture, history and spirituality. Not only can you cross off some of those gifts on your Christmas list, but also you can support our work on the White Earth Reservation.

The link to the auction will go live at 9 a.m. Central on Sunday, Nov. 29, here on hopeforthefirstnations.com and on our auction site. It will run through 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. In the meantime, we’ll be popping in to the Facebook event throughout the week with some live videos and more information about what we do, so don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook!

Contact HFtFN President Emily Miller at emily@hftfn.org if you have any questions or if you would like to donate items to our silent auction.
